Removing an Above Ground or Underground Storage Tank

Elk Environmental Services’ technicians are certified to remove and dispose above ground tanks as well as excavate, remove, and dispose underground tanks. Our highly trained confined space entry (CSE) crews safely access and clean tanks with our vactor trucks to remove and properly dispose any residual tank bottom liquids/sludges before removal.

We fill out all necessary permits, notify PA One Call, remove the contents of the tank, dispose of the tank and waste, and submit tank closure documentation to PADEP. We carry necessary licenses and insurances and adhere to strict federal, state, and local regulations.

Elk is a PADEP certified AMR and UMR contractor and is listed in the PADEP Certified Storage Tank Companies registry.
